Microsoft announced a couple of nice things yesterday, including some games, software and some offers. Check out the list below if you want to know what’s going on!
Here’s a quick summary of the event that happened on March 1st 2016:
- Those who pre-order Quantum Break On Xbox store will get the Windows 10 PC version for free
- Gears of War: Ultimate Edition is now available for download on Windows 10 PCs (priced at $29.99)
- Microsoft today announced Forza Motorsport 6: Apex is coming to the PC – Windows 10, fully supporting DirectX 12
- Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition is going to support Oculus Rift
- Ori and the Blind Forest: Definitive Edition coming to Xbox One and Windows 10 in April
- Killer Instinct: Season 3 for Xbox One and Windows 10 coming in few days
- Xbox team revealed the new updates arriving soon on Xbox One and also in the Xbox app in Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile
- Xbox One to receive future hardware upgrades, I think it means that they are just going to create their own small “Steam boxes”? ;)
- Universal Windows Apps will allow for games to run on Windows 10 PCs, Windows 10 Tablets and Windows 10 Mobile phones in the future, supporting DirectX 12 and possibly Vulkan

In other news you can stream your Xbox One games to any Windows 10 PC in your local network for some time now. Sony is planning to bring the same experience to the PS4 users. PS4 Remote Play feature is coming to Windows PCs soon.
