Steam Greenlight is one of those things that sounded good in theory but after a while most of the gamers I know hate it, so many crappy, unfinished games on there it’s kind of funny. Of course ther are exceptions but few weeks ago they allowed Postal on Greenlight without any problem and when the makers of Hatred put up their mass murdering game on Steam Greenlight it gets taken off the store after few hours.
“Based on what we’ve seen on Greenlight we would not publish Hatred on Steam. As such we’ll be taking it down,” Valve’s Doug Lombardi told Eurogamer
And why is that? How is this different from the upcoming GTA V release on the PC where you can literally do the same thing with a bunch of pedestrains and hookers. I understand that this game seems hardcore on the trailer but it’s not for the kids. And if some guy gets “inspired” by this title, well TV can do the same thing.
