Steam adds music library and player in latest beta

Probably old news to some of you but I’ve just noticed that Steam has a neat music player feature. Enable the latest beta on Steam to check it out, here are some screenshots:

Good thing is that it works with Steam overlay and you can listen to your favorite tracks while you play, although you can do that with any other application in your system I guess:

Would you buy music on Steam?

You can either listen to songs from the soundtracks you’ve got with your games or add any folder from your system. Here’s the settings screen:

Who knows? Maybe in the future Steam will allow us to buy music in the store or even better work it out like Spotify?[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
