We all know that prices on Steam could be really uneven in some regions. Especially after that sneaky conversion that happened in 2008.
We’ve tried to change that but it didn’t work, they simply wouldn’t care. But maybe they do now? Valve started to add more local currencies to Steam over the years and in some regions prices are starting to look much better, even better than they were in all in USD back in the good old days.

Do you guys still wait for your currency to show up? They are suppose to add a ton more during this winter holiday sale that’s planned on November 25th. Valve recently introduced a couple of new currencies to their store and will add more in Q1 2016, including:
- South Korean Won (KRW)
- Swiss Franc (CHF)
- Indian Rupee (INR)
- Chinese Yuan Renminbi (CNY)
- Chilean Peso (CLP)
- Peruvian Nuevo Sol (PEN)
- Columbian Peso (COP)
- South African Rand (ZAR)
- Taiwan New Dollar (TWD)
- Saudi Riyal (SAR)
- Hong Kong Dollar (HKD)
- United Arab Emirates Dirham (AED)
