AMD (ATI) didn`t gave up on support for linux. What the f… you talking about?

ATI just gave up their support for Linux. Intel is unusable there. It’s like a rollercoaster. Ups and downs, but mostly downs.
NVidia is fine, and it’s pretty decent there, you can play games with it, you can render things and such, no problem.
But wayland, I don’t know. I don’t think they will release a driver for wayland that soon, or even Ubuntu would migrate.Maybe 2-3 release later… I don’t know.

Not before Ubuntu’s next version which will have wayland graphics and possibly better 3d drivers. Present xorg ja 3d acceleration is no good and Steam client does not help if fps performance is 50% worse under linux. But is cool they are working on it.

Yeah I saw that Rottencat, but that only meant, they are working on it. It’s not finished, and far from playable.
And in the end, people could only play a really old game. Maybe later, this will bear a fruit. But as for now, even if they release L4D2, it’s not much. -
