no it doesn’t work at all – they said in Evolve news post that you need to have xcom – enemy unknown and this game will appear in your library without any key so that is useless if you don’t have xcom game

Tried all keys but none of them work for me. Checked the library but there is no evolve there. Mayby i broke it by using all the keys before checking it.
