Dollar is back! WTF?

I’ve received few e-mails from random people that dollar is back, you just need to add something to your cart (still shows euros there!), then fill out all the data and go to the last step.

I did it with COD4 (and I live in Poland), and see this:

I did not use any proxy or anything.
Notice that the price is WITH VAT INCLUDED but it doesn’t show how much $ VAT actually costs you.

What the hell!? Why AFTER the Holiday Sale?

    See the updated news, a guy bought a gift of HL1 Anthology to a friend and he saw the price in € too but at the end it was $, and on the receipt it shows $ (screenshot in the news).

    the same thing happened in Romania too; you can see here that the price is displayed in dollars only at the last possible step http://mihai.discuta-liber.com/s-a-intors-dolarul (you can still see the screenshot taken 10 minutes ago, although text is in Romanian)

    I just got really happy thinking this was working.. Went through with the purchase of Prince of persia, which read at the checkout $49.99 instead of €49.99. My receipt says €49.99, so i’m guessing they’ve just messed up the visual text, or something else.. It’s at least not giving me a bonus.

    ye its back. just wanted to buy beyond good and evil, and its 12 dollars now, instead of the 5 euros, but only at checkout. :/

    I have checked it on clean browser, without any cookies or history. And it still works.

    Are you sure you used ?cc=de , then cleared your cache and tried again? Interesting if it persists.

    Same here in Hungary, I’ve checked with Mass Effect.

    Instead of 45€, it says $36 (VAT included!) at the checkout page.

    Now it finally matches the retail prices here (38USD=7200HUF).

    Hi,

    i see that price is 60 dollars and 99. I remember that price in dolars before was 49,99 dollars for this game (i bought it that price in Norway anyway…). Now i still see 49,99 Euros (still i didn’ try to buy in Euros after the euro changed…).
