Valve wants Left 4 Dead 3

As Gabe Newell told in last PC Gamer magazine issue Valve Software is going to release another Left 4 Dead game “quickly and unpredictably”…

I’m convinced that at some point we will do it again” said Newell. Gabe claims that shocking their fans gives them a lot of fun but it’s also very scary. Why you may ask? It’s pretty obvious at this point, remember the fans reaction when Left 4 Dead 2 came out? It came out only a year after the first Left 4 Dead game.

It’s been 10 months “already” since Left 4 Dead 2 release.

If theres no new survivors there should at least be a new group composed of the previous survivors, and of course, new maps.

well 4 starters i think l4d is a great game things could be added to it to make it better like in the first l4d in the beginning cutscene it says 2 weeks after infection the third one could show how the infection started like what Aiden said make a spiecal infected free roam or something to show how the infection spead. but basically im just waiting for valve to announce the third left 4 dead game and the date its goona come out. trust me once that date is release if its gonna be released i will be counting the days till it comes out… yah im a die hard fan of l4d

If Valve is to make a third Left 4 dead than i think they need to shake it up a bit. You should be able to interact with the surroundings a bit more and have a hunger rate. Like maybe you would have to scavenge around a bit for food or water. Or even be able to eventually break through a wall by hitting it. And also it needs to have infected campaigns. For say a campaign where you are the first infected(you get to choose your special infected) and you have to break out of a containment facility. You get to rome around a city and infect people and watch the city’s society fall apart as the infection spreads. THAT would be a cool campaign. It would also need to have a more emotional side to it. Example, have Zombie children. It would add a bit more fright to it. I personally would like to have animals(wild and domesticated) that attack you as you pass them. that is all i have to say at the moment.

I want another L 4 D. The story needs to be a bit different and just a little bit realer. For example the running, what the creaters of l 4 d need to do is have it to where we can run a little bit faster than just the regular movement. Im not tying to talk about the game but I know their is not only 4 people to fight with through the whole world. Like i said earlier, it needs to be realier. Make it to where you can fight with other people and meet up with other people. Sort of make a free roam to L 4 D, and a story mode to l 4 D,and if it is possible have it to where you can sort of customize a character, but if anything make the game realier.
