Valve Pushes Out Half-Life For Linux

Valve has ported Half-Life to Linux. If you already own Half-Life on Steam just open it up on Linux and you can download it without any additional fees.

If you didn’t buy the game a decade ago, Valve still sells Half-Life on Steam for a price of $9.99 (in USA). The Linux port of this game, which is powered by the “GoldSrc” engine (a heavily-modified Quake engine), is currently considered beta.
