Left 4 Dead 2 has bulletproof zombies

Most of you probably know that Valve Corporation is currently showing off Left 4 Dead 2 at the Comic-Con in California. One of the most interesting announcements was that the zombies will be bulletproof in the sequel. It seems that the enemies are more varied this time – there are several new types of enemies including special Boomer-like bosses, Hazmat-suited fireproof zombies and zombies wearing Kevlars.

The ‘Kevlars’ can only be killed from a short distance and only in their unshielded backs so run and gun won’t be such a good idea now. All of those new features were showed in the Parish level (that’s the first level everyone seen few weeks ago when Left 4 Dead 2 was just announced) with considerable more aggressive AI director.

    The whole concept of separate campaigns didn’t really appeal to me from the beginning. When I first began to play L4D I started off in No Mercy of course, and I imagined that all those campaigns will be intertwined in one big story about apocalypse of modern society infected by a deadly virus.
    And then I boarded the chopper in NM4 and that was it…bah.
    Let’s go, a new campaign all over again.
    I don’t know, maybe I’m just an old fashioned guy who likes adventures and long quests like Metal Gear Solid, or Dark Messiah.
    L4D seemed kind of chopped up into pieces.
    Don’t get me wrong, I like L4D, it gave me hours of fun but when it comes to the bottom line – I joined L4D2 boycott group for a reason.
    Meaning, I said I won’t buy it and I’ll stick to it. Well, at least until I’m sure that they won’t make another sequel next year and put everything from L4D and L4D2 in it.
    And in a year, maybe the price will drop to 10-15$ so I might as well buy it.

    it’s easy to imagine that L4d2 will be a GREAT game..as VALVe always says,when talks about l4d2.

    …but…it’s all so “””wrong”””..

    i don’t think that l4d will continue to be updated…

    and l4d costed to us not so few euros..

    and l4d will cost a lot of new euros…
