PC players who purchased the game on Steam are playing a very different game than Deep Silver wanted you to even see — a dev build of the game. With a game this large and this anticipated, you can bet that when it was finally released early this morning, people fired it up as soon as it was ready, then found some glaring problems, like no-clipping, a bad port of the game, and just general shenanigans.
Well leave it up to the internet to, in record time, find out that the version released on Steam is in fact a dev build of the game, a build that they use to find glitches, exploits and bugs, so they don’t show up in the final build. But when you go and release this build, you aren’t doing a very good job of that. In the code, they found some very interesting lines that point to this being a possible port of the Xbox 360 version, which won’t make PC gamers happy.
