You might get Dungeons for 30€ in Impulse, if you’re lucky

Hey dudes, just wanted to share this information.

Impulse offered me today Dungeons and the price was only 29.35€. I thought, what the hell? What happened? And rushed to see the forums and Steam to check out, did they really drop the price. But unfortunately no, the price is still unfair.

So. Looks like I am lucky, who can buy stuff from Impulse with US price: “Prices based upon exchange rates as of 2/3/2011 and 9:00PM EST. Your order will be charged in US Dollars. Your order will be charged in US Dollars. Due to currency changes the prices may not reflect the exact exchange rate at the time of transaction

If you are lucky, you might get it also! Or you can of course wait for discount sales, holiday sales or simply get it in easier way if you know what I mean.

I played the demo and hated it.

Repetitive gameplay. It isn’t even worth 30 quid.. I might grab it once it hits a 75% discount on Steam. I was SO looking forward to experiencing some of the old DK charm again.

I live in Estonia, we had our own currency til 1st January. I think that Impulse hasn’t changed currency in every place.

So the € is the correct price.

Are slay from Scandinavia, since currency is in kr. ?

I also get totally confused with the invoice, as it stated the price in kr., but they might mean 30 euro.

i think the price 30 euro is still too much, and i totally agree with you guys, i simply wont get it at all.

I might (maybe) wait for games to drop down to a reasonable price and maybe buy it, and guess what, i just decided to ditch every game who promote their game with preorder bonuses, exclusive items and nameit bonus/item.

The way i see “preorder” bonus, i just translate it into “we have the power to control our customers buying behaviour, and sell by overhyping our games, with no demo whatssoever, and get more “bonus” for ourselves” bonus

I dont wanna buy a game by its pretty name anymore, but of the quality and the firms respect of its customers, and not just see everything as moneymachines.

Why would anyone pay 30 euros instead of 45 euro for a piece of shit? that’s the real question here.

Kossak – i have the same idea. Let them scratch their bold heads of why the sales are not good.

Besides i tried it and it sux. There are plenty other games that can be bought cheaper but offer more fun than this. So fuck them, maybe next time they will offer a better deal in EU and i might buy it.
