There was a rumor that Microsoft is about to announce something big today at Mobile World Conference. They did announce Universal Apps for Xbox One but that’s probably not it. Instead of the announcement we have some bad news. Xbox live seems to be having some major problems around the globe at the moment. Microsoft’s online network has been under attack – by a hacker group called New World Hackers.
The group recently carried campaigns against Donald Trump and ISIS. Currently the group claims that it can “knock Xbox off the face of the Earth”. The hackers claim that they are unhappy with the level of sophistication Microsoft has put on Xbox Live, and it urges the company to up its game.
“We attacked Xbox to protest. Major companies like this have massive servers but no real protection. We want Xbox to update the protection they have, which isn’t much.”

Xbox Live and Sony PlayStation Network have faced numerous outages in the past years. I don’t own a console anymore but I know I would be pissed if some hacker group would put me offline.[/fusion_builder_column][/fusion_builder_row][/fusion_builder_container]
