Don’t get deceived by the 50% off deal. It’s still cheaper in retail in most cases or CD-Key stores on the Internet. Also for me this one is unavailable in my region. So I can’t really compare the price here although some people claim it’s:

FEAR 2:

US: $49.99 $24.99
UK: £24.99 £12.49 (20% lower)
EU: 49,99€ 24,99€ (47% higher)

And the DLC:

US: $9.99 $4.99
UK: £5.99 £2.99 (4% lower)
EU: 7,99€ 3,99€ (17% higher)

That would be it – of course the Unreal deal sale is still on and if you want the classic UT multiplayer shooter you can grab it for 1.99€. That’s a good deal, eh? The same with UT3 for only 8€.

And please avoid the MDK and MDK 2 deal on Steam (both for over $22 even in a pack) because you can get it for almost 50% less on Good Old Games (MDK and MDK2 – all for around $12).

You can get the usa$ price on impulse even, when you are not from there, if you use hotspot shield

That also works for d2d, it doesnt work on gamersgate and steam atleast for me.

cool.. age of booty

spellforce is nice. i bought it from retail store long time ago. maybe i should start playing it :D i haven’t finished any expansion yet.

spellforce 2 is much easier and modern.

i want spellforce 3!

With the last update Impulse diplay european price for european users. I think it’s a big mistake. IMO the right way should be to display the original dollar price with the date of the exchange rate as before and next the euro price. Also a big warning should be display under the price that make clear when a game have a regional price and in that case the original one. People doesn’t have to became crazy looking for the original price to compare with the one he has to pay to know if he is ripped of or not. Avoiding to show this information or any form of information reduction has to be considered a shady behaviour.

However in impulse wed, Age of Booty has regional price with 1:1 rate. I wish Impulse make clearer the difference from steam.
