Steam: New User Interface on the way?

Some user on Steam Forums created a thread in which he complained about Steam interface. You can read the whole story here. What’s the best thing is that someone from Valve actually responded with:

 

 

FUCKING FINALLY.

I really hope this time the application will be more native to the whole system (Aero support?) and even if not please Valve, oh please, make the new interface/skin less green and flat. The Half-Life era is over!

    I hope they won’t add some useless craps to the current interface. Steam shouldn’t be resource hogging, and it’s already heavy enough on the RAM and CPU.
    If they go for any fancy useless gimmicks, I’ll get angry. A lot.

    The colour sheme is OK actually, but the overall look & feel could be more modern.
