Valve added a very useful tab on the main page of the Steam store:
Right now when you’re looking for something cheap on Steam (like all Europeans do these days…) you can easily spot something fun over there and won’t need to look through the whole store or Steam forums to get a good deal.
In addition you can subscribe to their latest RSS channel called Weekly Sales Charts.
