The makers of ModDB website – probably the biggest modding site on the Internet – are about to open a store for selling digital video games. It’s being developed by IGN (like Direct2Drive). Development includes CRM, DRM (digital rights management) for download security, development of a flash movie player, and a shopping cart module.
This is a pretty good idea in theory – modding website selling games for user made mods.
The more Steam competitors out there the better.
