this is our chance to do something, if we are like sitting ducks, only whine, how bad the blablabla treats us and no nothing, then nothing will change, they keep putting unfair prices and we we whine and buy those games anyway, because we are too lazy.
we have to make our moves too and if needed, spend some money for that. it is all for good cause, for better future of europeans in steam. -
Those games are the exact same price for Tier 2 and Tier 3 as in US!

As a side note, I heard that the reason for such higher prices for europe is because editors think that europe has higher standard of living, therefore europeans are used to pay more for everything there.

I would wait for true EU/DL conversion before starting this plan.
Even the low priced lucasarts games are still 14% higher in EU for no reason. I would also add that if you want to make people pay more then at least make every localized version avaible.Also, I’m Tier 2, but guys from Tier1 still get ripped off even for the other games in the list.
They have to learn that exchange rate are there for a reason, otherwise we could simply have the same currency.
For old lucasgames I hope they’ll consider to add them to GoG because that is the best enviroment for that games (and they’ll get so much love there) and they could benefit from scummvm too. Also the price would be fair and benefit from community initiative.

You know, I have one idea, but you probably don’t like it.
I want to call up everybody here and in steam community to buy at least ONE LucasArts game which price was decreased.
Then THEY SEE THE GOD DAMN RESULTS and spread the word, that if we make our prices fair, then WE SELL MORE GAMES!!!
Maybe stranded or somebody can post to our community page in Steam and call up everybody to make first move against unfair prices. Unfortunately it will cause some losses but it may be nothing to compare the final result!
Therefore please buy at least one of those games:

Finally something! See, that was very good thing to do, I’m very glad that you posted it to twitter just like I suggested.
Like that we may finally reach somewhere, people (developers) will realize, that there are still community, who cares about the prices and they will talk with eachother when chatting with even between different companies. And we will be beared in mind!
