    lol, I find it funny how people are being so pissed off about the lottery limitation, I thought they were joking but heck no xD

    why are you in this group ?!

    for free games and shop coupons ?!

    or to defend the consumers rights on online store (for videogame at least) ?

    I posted about the currency rate problem during the beta, I joined the Steam group right when it was created, but I don’t feel like I deserve anything.

    Did I endure doing the admin job ? Did I set up the website ? Sent all these emails and waited for the answers ? no, I just posted on Steam, sent few emails, joined the groups and gave my 2 cent on the website in the comments, nothing spectacular.

    Ok it’s not the best PR move the admin could do for few of the members, but why you could not let him fix that before raging ?
    He’s doing that on his free-time, be gentle and tolerate the few mistakes, MAYBE HE FORGOT THAT SOME MEMBERS CARING ABOUT THE EURO/DOLLAR WERE NOT ON THE SITE.

    Why not allowing brand-new members to participate to the lottery ?

    People just posted the link to the free membership giving you free coupon, telling people “HEY FREE 10% SAVING COUPONS FOR AMAZON”, tons of people kept joining and leaving the group to win 5 dollars on their games. They never read anything from the ECA, they were just here for the money saving.

    To prevent 100 to 200 people (or more) joining the site just to try to get a free game, turning this lottery into a “public giveaway lottery”, not something for the members of the group.

    And now the admin just let everyone play the lottery, SEE HOW HE’S LISTENING TO PROBLEMS AND FIXING THEM ?

    damnit I can’t believe some members are bitching about his attempt to bring gifts to members… it’s like throwing stones at Santa, wtf kids ?!

    how comes, that direct4drive can make so low prices? especially for l4d, l4d2 and cod:mw2 the prices are extremely low.
