    I only bought Left 4 Dead 2.

    Nothing.

The indie packs were nice, but all of them only contained 1 – 2 nice games. Don’t want my steam list filled with crap. The individual games were mostly either bad deals or just plain bad games themselves. I can get better deals at retailers or e-retailers any day.

Just bought Blur, Monkey Island 2 SE und the Indie Music-Pack (despite already owning Audiosurf and Beat Hazard) for myself and gifted L4D2 via Austria (to get it uncut) to 3 of my friends.

Theon, most of these games were already offered as some kind of deal somewhere, especially the indies… so it’s not really that strange, there was nothing really “unbelievable”. In fact, except King’s Bounty Crossworlds and DIRT2 i’m pretty sure i’ve seen similar or better deals on every game offered… (except, perhaps, the “multipacks”, but i don’t even have 10-12 close enough friends on steam i’d gift them a game, as is probably the case for most “casual” users)

43 games that would normally cost $730 purchased individually for $146, a savings of $583 or 80%. It will take years to completely play through all of them. Goddamn, I love being an American Steam user!

    Theon, why strange?

I didn’t buy anything, because I almost had everything I wanted already. And also it is end of the month, so no money to spend.
