This is a very nice approach to all gamers that are afraid of losing ownership of their games. GOG Galaxy is going to be sweet. From what we can see on the trailer you will have an option to download and use their client – Galaxy. It will keep your games up to day but won’t require to be online for games to work, won’t force you to create social profile, have friends and many other features. It just works how you want it to work. Imagine Steam without the online option for launching games, that would be amazing. Lets hope more and more games come to GOG in the future!
