Grim Dawn coming to Steam!

We just found out that Grim Dawn is going to be a Steam game (99,999% sure). What is this game you ask? Grim Dawn is an action role-playing game intended for digital distribution on the PC. It is being developed by veterans of Iron Lore Entertainment, the makers of Titan Quest. Grim Dawn is being built with Crate’s own improved version of the Iron Lore engine and toolset; the same technology used to create Titan Quest. As a spiritual successor, Grim Dawn will attempt to better perfect the magical formula of exploration, character advancement, and loot collection pioneered by Diablo.
We’ve contacted the game designers and here’s what they told us:
We are currently planning to sell the game through Steam and have actually already started the integration. We are also planning to have multiplayer similar to Titan Quest (we will probably allow 4-6 additional players to join a game) –

Oh, and by the way, you can already pre-order the game and participate in alpha and early beta programs and I am pretty sure that after you pre-purchase it, and it will eventually come out on Steam, Crate Entertainement will somehow add the game to your Steam account.

As you may already be aware that Steam is giving away excellent Diablo-like (almost the same creators though!) RPG named Torchlight! For very damn good price – 75% discount! US: $19.99 $5.00 / UK: £14.99 £3.75 (12% higher) / EU: 15,99€ 4,–€ (7% higher). Get it now, lots of them and save for friends! Who doesn’t know, what or who Torchlight is, then check the review here.

Fortunately you can change the currency and buy the item in selected currency and price (which may vary). As there are no complaints against EU users buying in $ or £, so I think that it can be “exploited”

Review: Torchlight

As you all know, in the beginning Runic God created the heaven and the earth. And the earth was without form, and void; and Ember was upon the face of the deep. And Runic God said, Let there be light: and there was Torchlight. And Runic God saw the light, that it was good: and Runic God divided the Torchlight from the Ember.
Anyway, let’s get to the game now Game should run smoothly on every computer that is bought within last 2-4 years, because requirements are so low. Although everywhere is said that it takes ~400mb disk space, it is not quite right. It takes 540mb (840 according to Steam) on my disk… For so less megabytes, so much good stuff, it’s amazing.
The game is mix-up from various cool RPG games – pets from Nethack; graphics style from Warcrafts; fishing from WoW; randomized dungeons from Nethack, Rogue or Dungeon Master; going deeper underground as in Diablo 1; imbuing items like in Diablo 2. And almost all of those features were in Torchlight ancestor game-serie called Fate.
As I read from forums, that you can level til 100, and I am only 38 or so, when finished Ember Mines. Now I am heading to Shadow Vault and I am not taking you along. This means that you have to figure out what happens next by yourself
Torchlight MMO comes in about 2 years – article here. And Diablo III is pushed to year 2011

I recommend everyone to grab this excellent game with cheap and fair price ($20/16£/16€).
