good point, added warning to post
*looking for 75% off for Batman :]*
No Contracts… lame
Its a bigger fail if you look at the normal price for the Deus Ex Collection which is £18.99 (£5.99+£5.99=£11.98) someone should be fired for this pricing
2Jibece:
yeah totally, man.. totally
2@:
steam is known for having a very bad math at times..
once ARMA2 at tier2 had 50% off deal meant 10€ while full price was 40€..
bought, and later found out that the game isn’t worth even 10€ lol
Steam might be doing this bad math on purpose.. let’s face it, major part of the customers take it that buying a pack must be cheaper by default.. but it’s not..
Most of the deals at steam has no discount at all and costs the same as separate titles.
It’s similar with that annouced BC2 4 pack on steam.. why didnt they make it available earlier. Because people are stupid and they will buy it anyway.
Smells like new Batman AA price and 10% weekend deal.
18 € during weekend maybe?
Deus Ex – quite tempting, but i will pass it anyway. No 1€=1$ deals!
Deus Ex is even more hilarious now after the deal ended ..
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/296/
20 vs 30€
Demanding 10eur each is ridiculous on its own.
indeed…
Individual price 19,98€
Package price 29,99€
I don’t know about you guys but I’m done with buying on Steam, it’s just rediculous. Only new releases can be good right now (if they’re priced equally).
For now I’m sticking with retail boxes or cd-keys that need to be registered on Steam.
For who want batman retail at similar price there’re

Be sure to check this deal as well

@Creiorly:
But there is a securom, right.. so not exactly a real game, since you need to look for an ISO and a working crack to get around the protection to LIVE account where you finally can insert the key.. NO THANKS
live games’ keys are shitty deals for whatever price they are..
I say, don’t buy a key that you need to use a crack for.. if you are buying a game, it must work out of the box more-less, so EADM or Steam key preferably
at GAME
Standart edition: 12quid
http://www.game.co.uk/Games/PC-Games/Batman-Arkham-Asylum/~r340760/
plus some 3€ for postage to mainland Europa..
Can only agree with Rad86N… not only is the retail ordered in UK cheaper than the Steam deal but also you OWN a retail game.
It’s your property, and you can do whatever you want with it.
But you don’t own a Steam game, it is only a subscription. That means you own shit, and if Valve on a whim decided for whatever reason to flip the switch on your account or game subscription, well… have fun.
Personal property always beat a subscription unless the deal is absolute fabulous.
Hi guys, no, I really don’t know what the deal is when you buy the game, or the key; when I saw it, I though some might be interested, since a lot of digital stores have been selling copies of Batman at different prices. I’ve never purchased anything from that site, don’t know how they work, I found it in the list of alternatives offered by the staff of steam unpowered. I apologize for any inconvenience I might have caused.
@Creiorly:
GTA4, Batman, FUEL, DIRT2, Red Faction, Bioshock2… The key you pay 30-40$ for at a keystore is USELESS, because it doesnt give you anything.. you need to pirate the game files and then usually to crack the executable to run the game..
that is no deal from the keystore since you can get the retail for equal or even lower price from a british store shipped and the game will work out of the box
Thanks, Creiorly, it’s always good to see when someone joins the community.
Don’t feel bad or sad or beaten up :)
