i watch only the “day-long deals” . it’useless that i spend all my money now.the sales last trough January 3.

already got stalker.i don’t need mirror edge and operation flashpoint.
I’m waiting for new day-long deals but I’ll probably buy Braid and Lucas Adventure Pack. Damn GTA IV system requirements xD Why only a whole pack of id software games is in promo – I want only Wolfenstein 3D ;P

Also found nothing interesting. Most of those deals are 43% more expensive for Europeans.
I like Dreamkiller offer which is not €2 deal, but fairly priced for Europe. But I already have this game and dont regret I paid a little bit more.
well. almost every single ink those could actually appear in a “day deal” too? Im totally into World in Conflict complete which 10$(15€ in eu).. but i would feel weird to buy it for 10$ if the pack gets to be on a day deal list for 2$ a week from now lol.. also, jedi academy for 5€.. wtf they should make a law to not be able to sell such old stuff for more than 2€, while stalker is 2€, jedi is a bad deal

Hi boys, I took GTA IV and Defence Grid. I agree that it’s smart to wait for other offers, we have time till 3 January with these and maybe other titles will have major price drops in the next days.
I’m thinking of getting Mirror’s Edge, Plants vs. Zombies, and maybe even GTA IV or S.T.A.L.K.E.R., but I’ve heard it won’t play on Windows 7. Any one knows?

All these games should work on windows 7, even with the 64 edition.
Stalker seems to have problems with vista 64.
STALKER works on Windows 7 x64.

Serioustly now – now we can see huge difference between Steam and others online sellers. Impulse already had 2discounts for 95% of games he offer and Steam make one big sale and nobody cares about Imp… how is the spelling ?:))

No, you live in Europe, it’s too expensive for me to buy a game in euros. You know, all games in Russia is sold in USD. You know, in this case i’ll overpay 40%. I’ll better try to look for Americans, or, at least, Britishmen.

A lot of good deals there, tho for example many Indie games have exactly same price drops on their websites, but charging in USD not EUR. Plus, you won’t get it tied to Steam account, plus you support devs directly, without Steam getting large chunk of the payment.

I just bought some games on Steam.
GTA IV, Endwar, Hawx, Assassins Creed, Stalker, Comandos 3, GRAW2, Far Cry 2 Fortune Edition, Universe At War Earth Assault & Starwars Republic Commando. Total of €84,40.
Cant wait for more cheap Today Only Sales :P

Also, does anyone know if the Games in Atari: 80 Classics in One are any good?
why is stalker clear sky only 10€ while the original is 20€.. i remeber clear sky as the second stalker game was more expensive lol.. its 5 and 2€ with the deal respectively

In case you don’t have FlatOut (the first), I would suggest GOG.com, it’s on sale for only 3.59 USD (!).
I’m just wondering on getting Aspyr Complete Pack for 41.49, although I already have Stubbs, most of the other ones are fairly new (2009) titles and may very well worth the price.

One of the bloppersin their advertising. They say 2k games 33% off and one of the thumbnails depicts Bioshock. But there is no Bioshock in the catalog, just Bioshock demo. ;-(((

Bummer, just found out, that the majority of servers for STALKER Shadow of Chernobyl are having version 1.0006, whereas the Steam-version is 1.0005.
