When I first began to play L4D I started off in No Mercy of course, and I imagined that all those campaigns will be intertwined in one big story about apocalypse of modern society infected by a deadly virus. And then I boarded the chopper in NM4 and that was it...bah. Let's go, a new campaign all over again. I don't know, maybe I'm just an old fashioned guy who likes adventures and long quests like Metal Gear Solid, or Dark Messiah. L4D seemed kind of chopped up into pieces. Don't get me wrong, I like L4D, it gave me hours of fun but when it comes to the bottom line - I joined L4D2 boycott group for a reason. Meaning, I said I won't buy it and I'll stick to it. Well, at least until I'm sure that they won't make another sequel next year and put everything from L4D and L4D2 in it. And in a year, maybe the price will drop to 10-15$ so I might as well buy it.
