Some of you that bought a Key from a Keydealer know it. Steam bans the Key and you get a Exchange from the Keydealer. This happens sporadic and not all time. But now its a big Wave coming from Steam. They bans many, many Keys from Dealers like G2play, Gamerdeals, Onlinekeystore asf. Many Customers are angry and a new Thread is in Steam Forums:
http://forums.steampowered.com…..amp;page=6
But now Valve closed the Thread and all upcoming too with the following Reason posted by a Valve Worker:
"I am sorry but you all did not purchase from a legitimate retailer. It is recommended that you contact the seller to request a refund.
In the future, you should only buy unopened retail boxed copies from legitimate retailers or purchase via legitimate digital download services such as Steam and Direct2Drive.
Future threads on the issue will be closed. If you have any questions/comments, please contact Steam Support."
Its the same Answer when you contact the Support. The Keys are illegal? But what is when someone bought a Retail Version in his Holiday in Asia and get it to Home and use it. Is it illegal , too? Steam and Activision want make money – big money. So they want sell the Game on his own Platform. The Reason is clear:
US: $59.99
UK: £39.99 (10% higher)
EU: 59,99€ (49% higher)
Modern Warfare 2 is a big Money Machine and noone can stop it.
What you think?
