Looking through the games of Aspyr Media and LucasArts, available on Steam, I noticed that some of their games have had their prices changed.
For Aspyr Media:
1701 A.D. Gold Edition
US: $29.99
UK: £24.99 (35% higher)
EU tier 1: 27,99€ (33% higher)
EU tier 2: 20,99€ (0% lower)
EU tier 3: 20,99€ (0% lower)

Cryostasis
US: $29.99
UK: £24.99 (35% higher)
EU tier 1: 27,99€ (33% higher)
EU tier 2: 20,99€ (0% lower)
EU tier 3: 20,99€ (0% lower)

Death to Spies: Moment of Truth
US: $29.99
UK: £20.99 (13% higher)
EU tier 1: 27,99€ (33% higher)
EU tier 2: 20,99€ (0% lower)
EU tier 3: 20,99€ (0% lower)

Death Track: Resurrection
US: $19.99
UK: £15.99 (30% higher)
EU tier 1: 18,99€ (36% higher)
EU tier 2: 14,99€ (7% higher)
EU tier 3: 14,99€ (7% higher)

Men of War
US: $29.99
UK: £24.99 (35% higher)
EU tier 1: 27,99€ (33% higher)
EU tier 2: 20,99€ (0% lower)
EU tier 3: 20,99€ (0% lower)

NecroVision
US: $29.99
UK: £24.99 (35% higher)
EU tier 1: 27,99€ (33% higher)
EU tier 2: 20,99€ (0% lower)
EU tier 3: 20,99€ (0% lower)

Stubbs The Zombie
US: $9.99
UK: £5.99 (3% lower)
EU tier 1: 9,99€ (43% higher)
EU tier 2: 7,99€ (14% higher)
EU tier 3: 7,99€ (14% higher)

Top Spin 2
US: $9.99
UK: £5.99 (3% lower)
EU tier 1: 9,99€ (43% higher)
EU tier 2: 7,99€ (14% higher)
EU tier 3: 7,99€ (14% higher)

To those in tier 1, I feel your pain.

For LucasArts:
Indiana Jones and the Fate of Atlantis
US: $4.99
UK: £2.99 (3% lower)
EU: 3,99€ (14% higher)

Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade
US: $4.99
UK: £2.99 (3% lower)
EU: 3,99€ (14% higher)

LOOM
US: $4.99
UK: £2.99 (3% lower)
EU: 3,99€ (14% higher)

Star Wars Starfighter
US: $4.99
UK: £2.99 (3% lower)
EU: 3,99€ (14% higher)

The Dig
US: $4.99
UK: £2.99 (3% lower)
EU: 3,99€ (14% higher)

The rest have a difference of over 20%.

I'm not sure when this change in prices occurred. To me this shows that the strategy of not buying overpriced games on Steam is working and it forces companies to lower their prices, as I don't believe they lowered the prices out of the goodness of their hearts, but rather because their games are not selling.

This is good news!

I think that it should be posted to twitter or something.

Like: "steamunpowered.eu greets Aspyr Media and LucasArts actions by setting fair price of some games for EU citizens!"

The point is, that we must inform about good things too, then they understand, that we ain't just bunch of whining geeks but adults who can see and share the bright side also!

To play or not to play – what question is that?!

Oh yes, I wanted to add, maybe the games are crap and so on, but that DOESN'T MATTER! The act itself is something mentionable!

Well yes, lots of games weren't changed for Tier 1, I agree, but still it should be published somewhere.

Personally I realize the frustration that Tier 1 users may have, but when thinking in bigger view, then Tier 1 has better economy and citizens get more salary than others Tiers and so on.
So Tier 1 is like full adult, there is not much of discounts, only sometimes (weekend deals).
Tier 2 is like a student, there are some discounts but not everywhere.
Tier 3 is like little child, moderate count of discounts but not everywhere.
And sometimes it's vice versa.

I think that it is little bit open-minded and little bit touched by justice.

My another 5 cents :)
