Some time ago we find out that the Left 4 Dead 2 will have many references to the band Depeche Mode, including their music. The band's manager decided to explain this weird idea.

It is not difficult to imagine that it's all about the money. Johnathan Kessler explains that the purpose of implementing the band's music in Left 4 Dead 2 is an attempt to broaden the audience of their music and to attract younger listeners.

However the strange thing is, Kessler said that there are currently no plans to release any tracks or other stuff on Guitar Hero or Rock Band.
