I thought I would post an update, I haven't managed to get to my bank yet but still need to, no response from this vendor. I pretty much have to declare this vendor unsuitable. The only communication in a week and a half is an invalid key.

I ended up paying £20, nearly twice as much for the deluxe version from Direct2Drive. Which comes with a bonus Ferengi key. And was completely instant XD Working Key straight away via thier system, which is much much more than I can say for this vendor.

Just to update, moneybookers reverse the transaction, I never heard a peep from this vendor so I would not recommend. Avoid!

Like Kossak, Slave I have to thank you Pyrii for your input. This every site actually lives from user feedback.

I hope other follow your example and are encouraged to post their own shopping experiences. Not only when things went wrong, but also when a transaction was successful. Share the valuable information you have gathered as customer. So others know where it's save to shop or to stay away.

I'm kind of surprised to see this shop still recommended on the Alternatives page given that as far as I can see, they don't exist and are losing thier merchant accounts with moneybookers/paypal

Looking at this page makes me scratch my head http://steamunpowered.eu/steam…..ernatives/

You nay be confused a little, but i want to remind you that all cd-key stores are in section that is called: Buy at your own risk!

may be this specific store should be moved to Disapproved list. That would be right.

Well I admit, having someone else's experiences would cement whether this shop is good or bad. But I don't want to risk my money again. Also, I noted that the strangely defensive comments have been removed, I'm guessing his ties with the company are in conflict?

At the end of the day, you are right, it is a risk, if you're willing to pay more for an official retailer, you'll get the service you "expect", but if you want to save money, don't expect the same, and risk being scammed unless you take precautions. </ramble>
