i wonder if the same publishers have unfair prices for the same games on both platforms (steam/impulse)? I wonder if they would want unfair price on steam and fair price on impulse or the opposite…

i checked prices for "Blood Bowl" and "Gratuitous Space Battles – The Tribe" and guess what – they have the same unfair prices on impulse and steam. Check other publishers that set fair prices and you see that they are fair on both platforms too! So i do think it's the publisher who wants these unfair prices and not steam/impulse.

Good work Kossak for checking it out.
However I wouldn't let Steam/Impulse off the hook yet.
Both are big online content delivery systems,
with large market shares.
They could decide to not sell a product with unfair prices,
in concern for their customers.
Like a electronic market may decide not to sell a certain device because it's low quality. Because it values its customers higher than profit at any cost.
Steam is market leader for online distribution.
It would hurt the publisher more than Steam if they refuse to sell. Steam could actually help to create fair prices.
I guess Steam earns a percentage of each sale based on the sale price. In that case than higher the price than bigger the profit, but that is only pure speculation.

Well in case you would want to buy AIM Racing, Death Track, Streets of Moscow plus Classic Car Racing and 4x4 Hummer in a bundle for 9.99 euros, you should chec out GamersGate, because they are selling these five in a 10-euro-package.
