I got a friend who has a pretty crappy pc, so I decided to buy 2 copies of Empire Earth 2 Gold Edition and to gift him a copy so that we could play online togheter (5$ each copy….)

Well…. we tryed to play an online match but the game prompted that the key was already in use.

Searching on GoG's forum we found that GoG gives to everyone the same cdkey wich is already included in the installer that they provide. So…. the single player works, but if you want to play online, you have to make a support ticket and ask them for an online cdkey.

I also read that their support is really slow.

I don't think that this is legal. Sending everyone an installer with the same cdkey is like selling pirated copies. Yeah, they got all the rights to sell those games and the give you your personal cdkey if you ask for it, but this is a serious method.

Those are the question that I would like to ask:

1. In your opinion, if I make a lot of tickets threatening to sue them if they don't give me my cdkey immediately(lol wut?), will they give me it faster?

2. In your opinion, if I change the cdkey with a random one, will it work (waiting my personal cdkey)?

3. In yuor opinion, will it work using Hamachi?

Ok, the rumors about "gog.com support is so slow" are only bullshit. Got my key today. Anyway this doesn't change the fact that IMO selling games with the same cdkey is a fraud, even if you change them later.
