Hi everyone!

I'm the UK and Northern Europe Product Manager for Gamesplanet and I'm happy to be here. I hope you'll also be happy to know that you'll be able to get live feedback and Q/A sessions with me about our download store.

We've been cruelly absent from this forum and I intend to rectify this, as we have some of the best offers available on Games to own, as well as Games on Demand!

Our revamped site is now live, check it out and don't hesitate to give me feedback:

http://uk.gamesplanet.com/

We've got some great offers on: with  the Ubisoft Summer fun, as well as a very cool 50% off Paradox titles!

But, we're not only about Games to Own, as we also have a Games on Demand subscription offer, with a lot of games for everyone!

Check it out here and game till you drop:

http://www.metaboli.co.uk/

Have fun, and stay tuned for some more awesome offers and prices :)

I am Metaboli Premium Pack subscriber :)

I had some problems with yummi player that annoyed me but it seems working okay for now.

Can  I get discount? :D

To play or not to play – what question is that?!

Nice to dee that many internet shops join Steam Unpowered to present it to our members.

Does your shop work like D2D? Are your games regionally limited, because i don't live in Europe, for instance. Do you have prices only in pounds?

Hi Guys, sorry, didn't check in to the forum since you posted!

So, here are my answers to you:

@Slava: It is nice indeed, isn't it? Competition is always good for the gamers :)

Our games are not regionally limited. We only have prices in Pounds Sterling, but we are working on getting a dual £/€ site. That said, it won't be available for some time, so I'd go ahead and get my games on the £ site for now :)

@Slay! Hi Slay! Nice to see that we have some Games on Demand people on here too! I'm sorry to hear that you had some issues with the Yummy player, but I'm happy to also read that it's working now. Unfortunately, I can't give you a discount, but I'm sure you'll be pleased to know that we have now launched a new Loyalty offer, which lets you register for a minimum Period of 6 months, for a reduced price!

Our Packs are now priced at £5.95/£5.95 for the Essential and Chill-out Packs and £10.95 for the Premium Pack.

As a reminder for all you avid gamers,

the Essential Pack gives you access to 163 games,

the Chill-out Pack gives you access to 257 games and

the Premium Pack gives you access to 510 (and counting) games!

Please note we add at least 2 new games per week!

Those of you who would like to know more, you can check our offers out here: http://www.metaboli.co.uk/offers.html

Enjoy,

MetaShane

I was just kidding.

But still I feel that there are some problems with yummi player. Looks like it doesn't handle network very good. I get sometimes timeouts in browsers and in MSN. Maybe it is because it doesn't know about windows maximum connection limit or has conflicts when logged in session gets timeout.

I usually keep metaboli tab open in firefox and it keeps timing out my session, although it didn't do some time ago. So when I logged in at the morning, I didn't have to re-login in the evening to run games or do something else. But it was there in short period. Now I have to re-login. It's annoying :) I use firefox for Metaboli. I think I had problems with IE.

To play or not to play – what question is that?!

I see. It might indeed be related to what you have said, yes. I'm not that technical, but I'll pass it on to the team.

Don't hesitate to post on the forum too :)

Any chance we get the "coming soon" prices? (I.E. Civ 5 will be out next month, most DDs already have preorders and stuff)

Thanks :)

Hi MetaShane,

I am also a subscriber, only that it's Essential Pack for quite some time now. I see your offering Essential subscription £1 cheaper than the current price I pay (£6.95/month). How can I switch to that offer from my current subscription? Is it automatic?

Hi again guys (and girls)!

@ryuga81: We'll get the coming soon prices soon ^^ The reason for us to do such releases is to let you know which games we'll distribute on our Buy and Download site, even before the prices have officially been given to us by the publishers. In the case of Civ 5, it's simply that Take 2 haven't given us the go yet… Sure, we could publish bogus prices, but we prefer not to do that and Yeah, we play by the rules.

@happymondays: Hi! Happy to see you are an Essential Pack subscriber, and I can tell you what to do if you want to take advantage of the Loytaly offer: Simply cancel your current Pack (beware though, when you cancel it, do it as close as possible to the end date of your original first month of subscription or you will have paid for the first month for nothing.) And then subscribe to the Loyalty offer :) Easy!

See you soon guys, and don't hesitate to ask any questions you have about our two services, both Buy and Download and Games on Demand :)

I'd like to quickly look at all the games in premium pack but it seems you don't have just a simple list of names of your games, do you? Clicking "next page" 35 times and waiting each time for page loading is not fun. Can you give me the list of full games in xls/csv/txt format? I'd like to see full games list at once and which pack they are in, to quickly scroll through them and see what is interesting to me.

Hello Kossak.

Sure, I have a list of games available in the Premium Pack. i can't post it here though, as I don't have the option to add docs to my post. via PM, perhaps?

Thanx for PM. I understand these are all games in all packages? If i can suggest something (small feature request :)) you should have similar option on the site so everyone could quickly look through the list and find interesting games. It would be nice to list games in the same way, that fit only in certain packages (chill-out, essentials, premium)

Thank you again for this list, i'll look through it.

– edit –

i see that some games were incorectly split into 2 lines for example:

Commandos 3 :

Destination Berlin

Call of Duty

2

Call of

Juarez : Bound in Blood

Actually, you can select the pack you want and see which games are in what Packs. Obviously, Premium Pack has it all, so no need to split :)

Don't know if we can get a total list of games, although it already exists on the site map.

You know, I think that error with the line break is due to the fact that I copy pasted from the xls file… It appears normal on my file.

I know i can see what games are in packs on your site, but the problem is i don't want to click 30 times "next" and wait for page loading. That's why i asked for one file with games' names.

Sure, and that's why i obliged:)

Bbut I don't think there would be a practical way of doing that with the site architecture we have today. The weird part is you say there are load times when it's nearly instantaneous here.

Or you'd have to look at a long list of text links. Not the best option, especially when you have to list over 500 games…

Anyway, we do have a list of all games in one page: http://www.metaboli.co.uk/sitemap.html

Thanx again. This is it… almost :D cause i don't see the packs the games fit in, but at least i can quickly search for a game with ctrl+f :) (or sort the list in my notepad, because for whatever reason the games are not sorted)

Looks like the games are there in timed order. Newest are on top, oldest on bottom. Actually it is not so bad.

And another topic.

IMHO the gameplaying stats is not working. I have played lots of Avatar, Royal Envoy, Dirt 2 and Aztec Tribe, but there is no stats counted Cry

To play or not to play – what question is that?!

@Kossak True that, I'll see if we can get that sort option on the site. nothing is more certain though :)

@Slay indeed, you got that right :) And about the stats… they are not exactly up to date, yes, and believe me, I resent it even more than you…

The sitemap "trick" is pretty neat. I hate to crawl through dozen of pages when all I want is a quick complete overview.
