Services ?
Fast tech support and phisticated FAQ system should be standard I think.

Supply ?
What do you mean by that ? Yes digitital distributon site should never run out of amout of licences they can sell and fast should offer very fast download. Service which offer steam are nice but I prefer lower price. I don't need to have chance to redownload game again.

Added value feature ?
Ability to download game before release and get exe itself or unlocking key in the mignight of the first day of release is very usefull. I used this few year ago with Trackmania United at gameplanet and it was awsome – ability to play with most dedicated players and developers itself untill morning. I hope I will have this changce with TM2 next year.

Generarily I consider important – lower prices then offer ebay and most cheapest e-shop in my country.

#1 legality / availability
what's the point of purchasing a key what is generated by keygen? I can generate millions of them!

#2 pricing / payment options

#3 impression (including nice feature a la Blue Coins)

#4 usability / support / direct contact with service (like metaboli guys writing in metaboli forums etc)

#5 stock variety

#6 delivery

#7 community

my 5 cents

To play or not to play – what question is that?!

keygen = program, which is used to generate valid serial numbers for application or game :) PS. it is illegal. Used mostly in warez.

Payment option = Paypal/visa/blue coins, various possibilities, various currencies etc. Preferred is PayPal I guess. I am not sure. I use usually my creditcard :) I am not sure about VISA but PayPal takes transfer fee. So if somebody pays 29.99, then you will recieve 28.xx. So for distributor it is not preferred way :) But it is simple and secure. Buying in Steam with VISA is too very simple. Last time I bought something, I wondered, huh what? Did I just paid 103€ or not? Just one click payment :)

Community – forums, polls and other that kind of stuff. Check out the Metaboli, the staff is actively talking with users in forums, making jokes and being part of it. That kind-of community. As I understand that in Steam forums is 2 sides: 1 side is defenders – the moderators, other side is attackers – users. So community should not be like that :) It should be one big nice family! :)

I also feel that community features are important. But we are a small team and have to prioritize on what to develop. The Steam forum have some years on its neck and probably started for discussion around Valves own games. We have thought about more community features on GamersGate we just have to figure out which people will use.

How about our reward system with BlueCoins the more active you are, pre-orders, promote and drive traffic to the site and buy games? What do you think about that?
