first of all, hi to all of you as I am new here ^^

second, please excuse my bad english, I am not a native speaker but I try hard (I hope)

I just wanted to share my experience with g2play with you (and maybe understand how they think).

The first game I bought from them was L4D2 Uncut (maybe 2 months ago).

I payed with paypal and natural they asked for my ID (witch I gave them, there is no over information on it besides my name and birth date, I thought they needed it for age verification as this is quite common in my home country) and within minuets I had my L4D2 key.

After that I also bought a Orange Box, Crysis and L4D1. The only problem I had up to that points was with L4D1 as the new Steam Beta was already in place and I could not add the key. But they told me they could do this for me if I could give them my steam name and password (that I did after some precautions so that they could not steal my steam account). They added the key and I changed my password back to my usual own, checked that noting was altered and was quite happy that everything had worked so well.

 Until I tried to buy Crysis Warhead.

I noramlly added it to my cart and payed as usual with paypal.

I got the normal emails but instead of an cd key I got a notice that my order had been declined.

Right after that my money was transferred back to paypal (by them, not me).

Up to that point I just thought that they had been run out of keys and so couldn't give me one.

So I tried to login to my account to see if my G2Play points which I had used were also back there.

But my account was disabled. A little concerned I wrote a email to the admin.

I was told that my account was disabled due to security risks and that I have to provide TWO additional official documents to have it back. No explanation that this security risks there, just nothing.

As you can guess, right now I am quite pissed of because of them (mostly because I do not get why they do this, they already have my ID and I do not even have a second official document, I am not getting a passport just for them and I am not going to search for my birth certificate just for that bunch of idiots). In my eyes their behavior is just nonsense.

In the future I will not buy anything from that guys anymore and I hope you thing twice as well.

They just do what they want demanding what they want giving what they want.

I really like to read your opinions on to this situation and possible explanations.

  in Oct 2009 I bought CoD4 at g2play, didn't play it much, but I got "keycode in use error" once – later it was OK so I didn't bother.

But today my friend told me I can check who plays on my key (www.ggc-stream.com ) So I checked it and found somebody is using my key too. I sent an email to G2play and asked them why they sold my key to another guy.  I was surprised but they answered me and sent me a new key. But I checked it too and gues what – even more people used it   (http://www.ggc-stream.com/inde…..uid_search)

So looks like they sell one same key to more people, and if you have problem with it they just give you another one until you give up – I advise you never buy a key you can't tie to some account!

I'm done with these key shops, there's so many problems with them…  I must admit that G2Play support is great – they always answered me my questions and replaced all wrong keys they sent me, but now I'm buying only from legit shops,  I want to play, not solve problems all the time.

I do not want to damage all Key stores or anything like that.

Once you side is back up I am more than willing to try it out.

I just want to tell people how g2play deals with its customers.

Thats my point, g2play was okay to buy some games, even if I have to give them my ID.

But if they feel like it they will just punch you in the face without any reason.

You should know that if you byu from them.
