Question about retail cdkey

Hi, i'm new here. I bought a key from G2play several months ago (NFS Carbon). Added in EADM and works fine (i'm in SE Aisa), so i really want to buy more stuff from this shop. I want Gears of war, Fallour 3 and some GFW Live title which are retail key. I notice G2play tell that: must have retail cd (which i dont have) or torrent iso to install game, but when install by a torrent iso, it require cd to run game so mean i have to copy a c***k to ingame and login LIVE use cdkey bought.

So this is illegal and my LIVE acc with key i bought could get banned. My question is: How can I use cdkey retail safely ? (I read many comments in forum which says they use these key fine and can play multi)

frankly speaking i think there is no taste to buy keys for a single player game. may be only if you want to be fair or support some special developer even with the small money. In all other cases just torrent the game. You need an image of the game anyway for the retail key. I took only keys for Ubisoft games and there you don't need a disc in a cd-rom because it has other form of protection, through the internet

I see.. So you don't support the single player developers but support multiplayer developers?

So you practically are killing single player games. Stabbing many times into the back. And you even call up others to do the same?

I personally love single players, I don't like multiplayer games much. I buy all games that I like, so I support the developers, so they can create another great game or even sequel.

To play or not to play – what question is that?!

Those who want to support developers need to buy games from retail shops paying the full price and not from cd-key stores, because buying from cd-keys stores does not support them. Wink

I don't have money to buy every game i want, they are too expensive, even in cd-key stores, that's why i buy MP games that give me maximum gameplay time for my money. SP i usually play once and never touch, so if it costs me $10 i would buy it too, but if it costs $50 or even $30 no way i'll buy it.

So don't start this moralistic talk about piracy killing PC gaming. Greedy publishers who price their games too high kill PC gaming. COD 7 pirated version for XBOX appeared on torrents earlier than PC version so it's a nonsense what you say.

I think its a rule in this forum abt not talking abt piracy but the modertaor Slava himself is supporting piracy. If you cant afford a game then dont pirate it

Yes. I have also haven't played some games that I wanted to play, because of the crazy price. There always will be some discount, when I can buy it for cheap :D

But now let's finish this kinda thread/arguing.

The topic of this thread is how to use CDkeys for games that have copy protection that requires CD in drive.

Btw, there are original game images for some games which pretend to work like you have original CD inside your virtual drive. They can ofound in gamecopyworld.

But first thing that you should do is to contact your key shop, where did you buy this key and ask, how you can play it. And if they start talking rubbish, then threat them that you demand your money back, because you can't play your game. This should work :)

You always need to buy games if you have money, because slay is right and pc gaming is duying!

Just my point was that keys for a retail game is too problematic. It works for example for COD 4 and COD 5 if you had a disc but your cd-key was stolen. So you buy a new CD-KEY and you are good. But to buy keys for a retail game when you don't have a physical disc to install game is a little inconvenient. EADM for example is great and you just download a game and that's it. Steam is perfect too for any games

i agree with most points here but fact still remains that steam is far too buggy if you have a large game list, also games i have downloaded actually work better and have less problems than my steam ones lol. EADM is by far the better download manager in my opinion since the update and games are not regionally resticted for this platform.

My advice is to buy retail keys that you can add to steam and just make sure you check regional restrictions and you can buy any key for eadm as all are multi lingual keys

I agree 100% Smile I never used EADM because i thought it's bugged and difficult to use. Installing MOH i tried it for the first time and was really impressed! It's so easy to use and it downloads games much faster than steam, at least for me and the most important thing it doesn't have any restricitons like steam has!

So yeah, for EADM i can say buy keys peacefully from key stores Wink

EADM is very easy, I never encountered any problems with it.

Now they have even updated version of EADM and this is even more simpler.

And you need EADM only for installing, it doesn't have to run in background.

EA should open its own digital store not only offering EA games but other titles as well
