G2play, any new promotion codes ? There're NO new from… Christmas, eh ?

~6 months later, still NO promotions for SteamUnpowered members, 10x. Then why is still there the "coupon box" on the checkout ?

Surprised

I hope G2Play will offer a new coupon of Steamunpowered users, maybe a 5% summertime discount?

On the other hand I just bought a scan of "Age of Conan 60 Days game card" from them. Didn't even had to check my e-mail because immediately after payment they showed the scan on their website to me. Very convenient.

Dunno why they and OKS have no price drop & discount promotions, I mean REAL discount promos, 60% off and above. Look Steam Summer Sales. These they days all other key stores will have serious drop of their sales if they don't do anythin'.

Thanks.

Because they got used that people buy from them (steam had no such crazy discounts for a long time), so business works this way. If somebody buys from you for the whole price why would you drop down the price and cut your profit? If they see no sells they'll do some massive discounts

Last crazy steam discounts were from Christmas and I remember them :D. But it depends… till 4th of July, it's time buying from digital stores, LoL – http://didimatic.com/dd/en/onsale/ :P.

Anyway, still no discounts from G2Play, huh… even from other stores.

key stores cant give so much discount as we buy from retail while digital distributors like steam can offer discounts because of the publisher and nothing else. Our business model is basically cheaper price during normal days.Compare our prices to some normal day and you will understand what it means

I had to refund lots of orders coz customers got to know abt steam deals and they all wanted refund and basically my sales were lost and I am quite sure my business is going to get screwed for sometime

Nobody expects from CD-key store discounts compared to what steam does now. be at least 50% cheaper than normal steam prices lol.

I noticed you have now Heroes of Newerth (btw best game ever!) – in promotion for 24.77€ or $30.40. Nice but… why is it more expensive than buying this game for full price directly from its official site for $30 http://www.heroesofnewerth.com? :)

Probably they get it cheaper from the developer and want to earn a couple of bucks.

Sorry! When I posted earlier that perhaps "maybe G2Play.net are stealing keys", I wasn't just making spurious accusations. I just didn't think that sources and evidence were needed here – we could just make stuff up like "they get it cheaper from the developer" and not bother with links or facts.

Let me see if I can find a reputable source that claims that G2Play.net sell stolen CD keys… ah! Here we go!

Nothing about stolen Cd-keys, only empty words about suspicion and 15 comments with 95% of them saying how they are happy with G2play. I see you now have a personal vendetta against them. ok i'll wish you good luck. Cool

Well duh! Laugh Why did you think I was posting about them before? Professional reasons? They have insulted me and offended me and stolen from me and threatened me, and I am not amused.

Bought a scan of Bioware 1600 Points Game Card (13.99€) as usually no problems. I like that they show the scan in the browser windows right after the purchase, so I don't have to wait for the email. As sidenote Amazon.de sells the Bioware Point Box 12.90€, but only from orders from 20€ you have free shipment. Which add 3€, still if buy something else that push your complete order over 20€…

Now I'm ready for the new DLC's that Bioware will release 7th September. The Witch Hunt for Dragon Age and Lair of the Shadowbroker for Mass Effect 2.

Do they also want your ID like most key shops? Because that's the only reason I pretty much refuse to buy from any of them.

I bought from them 3 times and never was asked to send my ID. But it does not mean anybody else won't too.
