I agree. You don't even know if those keys weren't used earlier.

@G2Play – I see you shill have the silly free keys, but since noone knows if they are even valid or who got it, it is the same as you don't give them at all. Why dont you reward your registered users with these free keys? Make a lottery or something?
Maybe even that you have to spend 20 reward points to participate and you draw a lucky winned for each of the game? And then ocourse announce it on the front page so we can actually see that someone even got the game in the first place.
Give your customers the chance to win something!

Agreed, either dont do them at all, or reward your customers. These silly free key give aways are not good business. If I knew you were trying to give keys away, why would I want to buy it then?

Isn't it that obvious why they are doing it? To generate traffic and attention to the site.
While people are waiting for the key to appear, I'm sure a lot of them
will browse the stock. When they one day want to buy a CD-Key they will
remember G2Play.
You didn't think G2Play is a charity
organization dedicated to provide the world of players with free game keys? I rather think they have to pay bills like us. This free key thing
is a great advertisement because greed is strong instinct.

Dragoon: That is a double edged sword. Sure it generates traffic, but for the users that have bought from them gain nothing, whilst people who don't even buy from them gain something that we potentially paid for. This throws people off from buying anything if they know they have a chance of getting it.
I know that after I bought some stuff there, I don't ever feel like I can buy from them again due to these give aways.

Hi guys,
Provided that this giveaways are valid, I don't see why you would be upset about how G2Play is organizing this contest, cause it is a contest and why shouldn't I be included in it even if I haven't bought a single game from them (hypothetically speaking)? Couple of days ago, G2Play organized another giveaway contest through Twitter and rewarded three guys with the game Diablo 2 and, i think, an expansion as well. These weren't customers, simply followers that had the luck to be elected out of the group of people who twitted something like "I love G2Play". If G2Play is really awarding users then we should be encouraging all of their future efforts, though I must admit that it would be great, as some of the guys mentioned, if we could know that the keys are really valid. I tried to use all of the steam keys in my account and for some I received notification that they have been already activated, while others could not be recognized by the steam key database (this might be because of the region where I am). Anyway, just voicing my opinion… er, no need for heads to roll… :)

The problem is that their giveaway on their website is public. I mean everyone can simply see what keys are posted there and whoever gets them first wins, right? Well think about it, this is probably the easiest way to get your account (whatever, Steam, EA, Impulse etc) banned/blocked/disabled (maybe not permanently but still) because they just simply might ban those keys as anyone can just fucking copy them from g2play and filter them out.

Howdy, i just saw you had a deal on Moun&Blade Warband Complete collection. What does that mean if i may ask? From the description you get Warband alone so what makes this a complete collection?
Any you have a slight misspell in Until Sunday (Untl ) ;)

I don't think you would get answer here either from their support.
I asked a question about Assassin's creed 2 before i wanted to buy it and couldn't get a logical answer.
I tried to find this complete collection in google and failed. so you can try. anyway i hope you know that you need an image of this game and if i understand correct you'll need this specific game version image later to install the game.
so i wouldn't risk with complete collections, but it's my opinion

G2play doesn't answer here anymore. I think they were scared of criticism and eventually stopped listening to their customers.
Mount & Blade and Mount & Blade: Warband are registrable on steam.

if the game can be activated on steam, why online key store and other store say that this game is not for steam?

Maybe because Warband was NOT accepted on steam on the beginning. But few days later they changed it and now their support page clearly says that it can be registred. I guess steam support can't be wrong, it is cleary written that it is now accepted. Didn't check it myself though cause i'm not interested in this title.

I checked the SteamSupport page showing the Retail CD-Keys you can register at Steam, and Mount & Blade is now listed.

- Mount & Blade: Warband CD Keys in this format: 1AB2C-D3FGH-456I7-JK8LM-NOP9Q

Hi,
Just to clear it up, as Dragoon says Mount & Blade Warband keys can be activated and downloaded via Steam but only in the format that Steam show.
Not all regions supply Steam activated codes so each store would be different depending where their supply chain is.
