Like other ppl, i bought one Battlefield Bad Company 2 Standard Edition with the credit card.

They request me to send them pictures with my documents, and this is not normal man, in Europe only the Police can see that, never ever nobody have to request you that, and btw, when i paid the game, after one day waiting the key, i send one msg to tell them to refund my money back, but WTF is this omg? when i paid with the credit card, my bank request me the secret codes man to use them, and was not problem, who the fuck can know my ID number and password? only me, nobody else.

Now they said that they will refund my money back:

We try meke you a refund as soon as its possible.

I sware, ill never use this type of scame page to buy one game, i dont recomend to nobody to buy from them Yell.

Well, this time I have to disagree.

It is a known fact that G2PLAY asks for a ID scan and, if you want to buy something somewhere, you have to accept the terms of conditions, no exception.

This is what happens (90%) when a new custumer buys something.

1. They suspect you of fraud

G2PLAY .net service reserves the right to cancel any incoming order which it might believe to be of suspicous nature (such as unauthorised / fraud payments etc.). Similar paid orders are refunded and the goods are not delivered.

2. They give you a chance to prove your identy and your reliability by sending them an ID scan and, in case, by a phone call. The do not violate their TOC or any law, i think. For example, when you rent a car or you go to a internet point or to a casinò, usually the shoopkeeper asks you for a ID. Also they guarantee that they DO NOT store the pic.

G2PLAY.net collects information online by asking you for it, for example, when you order a service, apply for a job, or respond to a survey, offer or other promotion. A customer's name, address (postal and e-mail) and telephone number are the most important pieces of information, but we might request other information, based on, for example, the service(s) being ordered or promoted.

3a. If you accept and, as you should do, send them the ID, you will receive the item that you bought and now you are a "trusted" custumer (maybe not the proper name). The next time that you shop, G2Play should not ask you for your ID again, but it can happens.

3b.If you don't send them the ID, they "confirm" their suspicions.  G2Play refunds you and the good are not delivered, as the TOC says.

I bought a lot of times from G2Play, they are really fast on delivery. They asked me for the ID just once.

It was very well explained f3d3r1c0mb4t!

Cd-Key stores confront enormous wave of scammers who try to steal from them every day. So i can't blame them for being too cautious. It's their store and their rules. If you don't like it you can always buy in another store or go to your local retail store if you don't like it.

I agree.

The comparison with casinos was a very good point.

As I remember from another thread that G2Play asked ID from same customer. So this means that they don't store ID's.

To play or not to play – what question is that?!

You can try and buy from other cd-key stores in our buy at your own risk list. Some have more personal support and store your IDs after the initial checking (my personal favorite is Keys4.me). But for sure you can buy on Steam. I can gift games in $, so taking into consideration that most of cd-key stores price their games in Euros and have unfair Steam prices as a reference, so games on steam in dollars usually cost the same.

Just to clarify we don't store IDs but only ever ask for them once if its required by our checking system, after that you wouldn't have to ever resubmit those ID scans again. After we have checked them we destroy them and in most cases we don't ask for ID scans.

Just incase anyone was confused :)

<Hi Slava!>

This is the exact same method we have, you only get asked for ID if info given is in some way not correct otherwise it will pass you and verify you anyway

thanks
