All products sold by EA are activated over their own download platform EADM. Which registers and bind games to an Email account like Steam. Also notice the the EA shop is also regional locked. You can't even see what the prices are in other countrys.
Check out this page. http://steamunpowered.eu/steam…..ernatives/ Disapproved Alternatives for Steam
For Germany all this Games are still 19.99 €

I agree with you, but the price is good for me and I see no problems why not to use EADM.

I bought Mass Effect through it and was able to register there Need For Speed Undercover retail version too, but not in Steam.

That wasn't so much if EADM is good or bad. I rather just wanted to point out that the prices you saw on EA shop are only for you country. Thus regional pricing, ther countries have unfortunatly other prices. :(
I am a bit confused, from you profile it says Estonia but the price you posted is in pound Sterling or?

I see I understand now. Well as EA store is available only in few coutries and not in ours, I have used always UK because UK deals with this region IMHO. Ie I ordered Dark Messiah of Might and Magic from Ubisoft UK shop.

Well this should be NEW on main page. Yeah, I know DRM, country restriction, defferent prices but Steam also have these flaws and We ready "discount" news every week. SO why don't put this on main page ?

Please next time put this on main page, I don't watch forum every day….

After 1 hour of playing with proxies (i'm from Czech Rep.) I managed to get Mass Effect – for 3.74 £. Don't forget to use this coupon VoucherCodes.com25% to get another 25% discount (this can be applied to any game of course, i.e. Battlefield 1943).

Betonar, yes, exactly that what I was thinking, but seems like the prices will vary depending on which country you are on.

I will think about it. Thanks

And that VoucherCodes.com is awesome!

I pre-ordered ME2 with 25% discount :D

Where are you buying from? From what country/URL? Cause I'm still getting an "Invalid promo code" when using "VoucherCodes.com25%" at eastore.ea.com from USA, China and South Africa.

The URL http://eastore.ea.com is obvious – the question that remains though is from where you bought them? From what country? And also when last did this voucher work for you?

Yep, I'm in the UK store for sure. With the advert in the corner about the games being on sale for "under £5" and everything. Trying all the vouchers VoucherCodes15% VoucherCodes_20% VoucherCodes.com25% – none of them work for me though. Even using an Elite UK proxy I get the same results: Invalid promo code

Oh well. Was worth a shot I guess.

That's strange – tried it today – still working. Try to delete your cookies and log off ea store or check it on another browser/PC, the coupon must work.

You can see these discounts only with UK IP.

BTW There were also glitch in UK store – after adding Dead space and Mercenaries 2 + other 4.99 games to basket – the price changed to £ 0, so some people got all the games freeSurprised unfortunately they fixed itCry maybe next time…Laugh
