The policy of SU is it ask CD-Key stores not to spam inside other stores forums but this time i think i would thank gamekeydistrict for saying his words.
Something is wrong in your store and it smells. If a customer fills an official contact form and it's sent to somebody who is not a part of your business, and he sends to a customer another key, that is banned very soon too. So how the hell did it happen? Isn't it your store? If the answer is yes? so why didn't you change the contact us form? Why is it still sent to this Sam who is not a part of your business as you claim?
The domain transfer from one owner to another takes quite some time to change .It has still not been done .Everything about us will go fishy now just because one customer was asked to wait for paypal dispute to end and not normal refund.
However if in the next 2 days or so if you get another 10 guys saying keys delivered fast and all then all issues will be solved and ill be acknowledged as a good store again.Seriously no comments man.
I'm not sure what else I could have done when my key was banned. I contacted the seller through the same website that I purchased the key through. Why is it my problem that you have technical and/or staffing problems?
Here are the 2 responses I received after complaining about the ban:
"Please file a paypal dispute and take back your money if u have issues with any the key.Our paypal has issues so we are unable to refund you."
"Our account is limited .We dont have option to refund.File a dispute and get back your money. Please dont try to threaten us uselessly"
If an impostor has been falsely representing your company, then make it right with an apology and immediate refund. As the previous poster mentioned, all you have to do is click a button in paypal and its done.
Do not buy CD Keys from CDKeyWorld or any other unauthorised key seller or off auction sites (eBay, etc). In doing so you are throwing money down the drain because Steam more or less ban nearly every single one of these keys bought from such sites because they are unauthorised sellers. And based from what I've read in this thread and on other boards, these sites know the huge risk you are taking and the likely hood the key you buy from them will be banned and yet are extremely reluctant and difficult in providing you with a refund.
The reason the keys get banned is because the keys are bought in bulk from countries with weaker economies, thus the price of the game is lower and so sites like these buy the CD Keys on the cheap on sell them to poor suckers who think they're getting a bargain only to have their key disabled. When you buy from CDKeyWorld and such sites you are not buying the full game, you are not paying the necessary price to own that game, because you are not paying the market price for the key and the publishers won't see a penny of the money you spend. It's tantamount to buying a burnt copy of a game from your friend.
If you want the game cheap, search around for truster retailers (supermarkets, established game shops) selling sealed, retail versions in a sale. Or simply buy from Steam direct.
But don't give these shady companies money from a CD Key they know you won't be able to use for long. Steam will ban it and they will be right to do so. Don't blame Steam, blame these scammers who are selling you a useless string of characters claiming to be a valid license to own a particular video game in your country.
Please take my advice, don't buy CD Keys. Either buy from Steam (or other trusted online retailers, D2D) or buy the game brand new and sealed. Read through this thread and just see how difficult they've proven to be, how people have had trouble receiving their products or money back and when you consider how shady they appear to be and add to the fact the product they are selling isn't authorised and thus the likely hood of your key being disabled it extremely high, then it's pretty obvious that this company should not be dealt with. Employ some common sense. Pay the bit extra for a legit version of the game, if you use sites liked CDKeyWorld you'll lose your money. FACT.
After a couple of weeks of this guy ignoring requests from paypal to refund me, they have closed the dispute and found in my favor. Fortunately for me, there was money in his account so I get a refund. Sadly, this money is likely from other suckers like me who have bought these ripoff keys and the next guy may not be so lucky.
This was a real learning experience for me. I suggest that anyone thinking about buying a game key should look elsewhere. This guy is a liar and a thief and should be avoided at all costs. His policy of telling you to open a dispute with paypal because its the only way he can refund and then ignoring the payment requests until the dispute ends is ridiculous and an outright lie – I have no idea what he could possibly think he gains by this and is sure to lose customers due to the bad press.
Please dont start your old issue again. We have this policy with everyone .If without contacting us you start a paypal dispute , you will have to go through the dispute process to get back your money .We wont manually refund, thats final. Also as said we have no connection whatsoever with whoever told you to do the dispute.
Reading the thread again I realized that I never wrote a follow up.
So,
CDKeysWorld did offer me store credit in the end but that meant I would have to risk the whole thing all over again plus I would be giving them MORE money.
so I just cut my losses.
For me it was about the principal more than about the cash.
Reading what has happened since I'm gonna stick with my opinion and recommend customers go with one of the other stores.
There are two in mind that I would recommend and I'd like to thank them again as six months later I have not had any.problems with the keys.
You know who you are guys :)
cdkeysworld are scammers just so you know, any admin or moderator who needs proof pm me but i got scammed (got money back through chargeback) from the sam email on msn then a few days ago cdkeysworld@hotmail.com contacted me and they even sent me an email from admin@cdkeysworld.com to confirm who they were, now they just go offline and no products sent so time to chargeback again on alertpay
stay well clear of these scammers
