Comparison script – Steam Unpowered edition!
We proudly present new version of Steam store price comparison script, originally created by tor (thanks!) modified by Zuko.
New features:
- Works on DLCs
- Works on discounts
- Converts prices to your local currency
- Has colors ;-)
Configuration (open up the script with your favorite text editor):
- showYourLocalCurrency – Enables/Disables price conversion to your local currency
- yourLocalCurrency – Your local currency (eg. PLN, CZK and many more)
- yourBaseCurrency – base currency for DLC price conversion
- showTieredEuPrices –If set to true, the script will display prices from both Valve’s price regions, or "tiers".
- showUkPrice – If set to true, UK prices will be displayed (in addition to US and EU prices)
- showAUPrice – If set to true, AU prices will be displayed (in addition to US and EU prices)
- usVat – Adds VAT value for US prices (depending on country)
Script works on: Mozilla Firefox (with GreaseMonkey Addon), Chrome and Opera (but without the colors in the last one).

Can someone check the price of Stargate Resistance it is £12.99 but the script says it’s £16.19. Seems to be a problem with Lead and Gold Gangs of the Wild West is £9.99 script says £16.19.

Well DLC that’s £0.99 showing up as £9.99 http://www.porkpieclub.com/dlc.jpg, then the 6.4 GBP is incorrect, it should be 6.04 GBP or 6.40 GBP.

Hello, can someone tell me where I can find the script after I install it? It’s not in the Chrome/Extensions folder, so I’m a bit confused, since I’d like to edit it, thanks.
I don’t know where Chrome keeps scripts, but you can save it on Desktop -> edit -> add to browser.

@Zuko: can you check how this script works on the page: http://store.steampowered.com/app/34830 cause i think there’s a bug. Normally Ghost Sniper is 29,99€ for me, but your script shows it’s 44,99€ and it doesn’t show prices for regions US, EU Tier 1 and AU. I’m located in Poland.
Kossak is right. Ghost Sniper costs 29.99 in every currency in every country.
And tor’s original script works fine:
US: $29.99
UK: £29.99 (59% higher)
EU: 29,99€ (32% higher)
AU: $29.99 USD (0% higher)

This is really cool! Especially the automatic currency conversion is very useful for people who have the EU pricing scheme forced upon them despite not being part of the EU and not using the Euro.
