Steam: Borderlands pre-purchase

As of today, the four-pack pre-purchase of Borderlands is available on Steam. But, as always, the prcing isn’t very fair.

Borderlands

borderlands

US: $49.99 $44.99

EU: 49.99€ 44.99€ (47% higher than US)

UK: £29.99 £26.99 (5% lower than US)

These prices are just for 1 game, not the four-pack.

Four-pack:

US: $149.97 $134.97

EU: 149.97€ 134.97€ (47% higher than US)

UK: £89.97 £80.97 (5% lower than US)

So, again, if you have some good friend in UK that is willing to ‘gift’ you a game, then I suggest you should get it. Other way may cause irreversible harm to your wallet :)

“Painkiller Resurrection – get Black Edition and Overdose for free!” (read: for 47% higher price!)

Painkiller: Resurrection

+ bonus Painkiller: Black Edition + Painkiller: Overdose

Painkillern Resurrection

US: $29.99 $26.99
UK: £19.99 £17.99 (6% higher)
EU Tier1: 29,99€ 26,99€ (47% higher)

So all you remember nice “Heaven’s got a hitman”-game named Painkiller. Finally there is a sequel (or “addon” if you wish to say it so :P). Unfortunately the price is unfair. So if you really-really are a fan and want get your hands on it, go ahead.
PS. Game will be released on 27th Oct.

Impulse "Ready to Play" (RTP) is a revolutionary system that enables users to find other gamers to play a personal computer game. Unlike existing systems, Impulse "Ready to Play" includes an intelligent player profile, scheduling and notification.

I think all Stardock customers (Impulse account holders) have access to the “Ready To Play” beta.

To install Ready to Play, please download and install Impulse from this location. Once you have Impulse installed, Ready to Play should show up in your account, if you do not see it please follow these steps to register Ready to Play with your Impulse account.

In addition, Stardock will be sending you five additional serial numbers so that users can invite their friends to play in the Preview Beta.

See you online! And here are some screenshots:

Steam: New games in store

Some new titles showed up yesterday on Steam. Including a cool puzzle game called Puzzlegeddon (try the demo here) and Freeze Tag games. While the first one is priced really fair around the world the second one continues with over priced policy in Europe, especially Tier 1 (40% more) and the UK (23% more). We do not recommend getting the Freeze Tag packs if you’re from Tier 1 – get a gift from your Tier 2 or USA friends instead!

Left 4 Dead: Crash Course coming up Sep 29th

Crash Course delivers new single-player, multiplayer and co-operative gameplay and bridges the gap between the end of the "No Mercy" campaign and the beginning of "Death Toll" in the original game.

While containing both Survival maps and a Co-operative Campaign, the primary goal of Crash Course is to deliver a complete Versus mode experience in just 30 minutes, resulting in a streamlined version of the game’s existing Versus campaigns. A recharge timer for infected teammates has also been added, and item spawn behavior has changed for more balanced gameplay.

hunshiki: Guys, do you know that site's address, which had all the dails for "today"? It listed all the games (discounted) from every online store. I can't remember it's name, and even ~10 minutes of Google didn't help me.
