The PlayStation 3 version of Valve’s upcoming first-person puzzler Portal 2 features cross-platform play and chat with the Steam PC and Mac versions.
At E3 2010 Gabe Newell came on stage at Sonys press conference to announce that Portal 2 will be coming to PS3. But more importantly than that, it will also be the first console title to come with Valves “Steamworks” package. Valve announced that this would include Steamcloud support and automatic updates, but it seems it’s also enabled something a little more exciting.
Additionally, the PS3 version unlocks the Steam Play version free of charge when gamers link their PlayStation Network and Steam accounts.

“Let’s talk about sex, let’s talk about you and Kinect…”
It took some time, but here it is. The first Kinect sex game from the developer of game like 3D Sexvilla 2 (sex-MMO). Currently it is only in tech demo, but soon there will be a fully interactive game. And then you can get your fleshlight and feel the game like the real thing. Or maybe even better?

The most waited and resurrected game is now on our doorstep. After 12 years of failures and money loss it is finally coming true. The game is developed by Gearbox, the maker of Borderlands and other cool titles, and should come out early 2011 (Valve time).
Lately Gearbox wanted to distribute Duke Nukem Forever demo only for Borderlands Game Of The Year edition buyers, but now is announced that Duke demo will be free for everyone. Borderlands GOTY will be released on Friday, so this means most likely that DNF demo is not ready yet :)
This post contains video, pictures and a poll at the end, so have fun :)
Do you wanna play it?

Alpha Protocol, PC – £2.2507/10/2010 in Digital Distribution
Alpha Protocol, PC – £2.25
This offer is only officially possible to get in certain parts of Europe, but by using this workaround you can get it anywhere:
1. Go to this proxy. Any proxy for a country that is participating should work, but this is the one I used.
2. Visit “http://www.greenmangaming.com/games/alpha-protocol/” via the proxy
3. Register an account with Green Man Gaming
4. Close the proxy, and go back to the Green Man Gaming homepage. Log in with the account you just registered.
5. Purchase Alpha Protocol for €2.49, paying via PayPal.
6. You’ll be given a serial, which you can activate on Steam.Cheers to Iván for the heads up.
SavyGamer » Alpha Protocol, PC – £2.25
The offer is only valid if you currently live in a country that has the €URO as currency. So ask a friend if you don’t to gift it to you. I don’t advise to use a proxy. I think it’s to dangerous and risk possible a revoked game if GreenManGaming finds out.
APB Steam refund update
25/09/2010 in Digital Distribution, News
If you bought APB from Steam, apparently EA are now offering a free game as a refund. Valve put up a brick wall, but EA are making up for the fact that customer who bought their game ended up with nothing to show for it.
If you contact them through this site, and tell them you’d like another game to replace APB, they will give you any game currently available on the EA Store. I don’t think that they will let you get preorders, but it’s worth a shot.
You can pick from the likes of Mass Effect 2, Dragon Age: Origins, Spore, The Saboteur, Burnout Paradise: The Ultimate Box, Battlefield: Bad Company 2 and all sorts of other stuff.
Thanks to CHooligans for the heads up.

Mine is already downloading :-)
In the first six months of 2010, 11.2 million full games for the PC were bought online compared to 8.2 million physical unit sales, said NPD Group. Topping the list of download sites was Steam, the online shop of game developer Valve which created Half-Life, Left 4 Dead and many others. Despite the prevalence of downloads, physical sales generated more cash.
NPD said that PC sales in shops made up 57% of all cash spent on PC games compared to 43% for downloads. NPD said this was due to the higher average price of games sold in stores. The figures also revealed that the total sales of downloads and in-shop sales were down 21% on the same period in 2009.
